"Sweet dreams are made of this, who am I to disagree?"

Sweet Dreams debuted as the mid-range paint of the Cheat Day matched set. It is purple in the bottle but morphs to final display of blue and purple with a fleeting wisp of pink. Sweet Dreams can be used layered over one of the other colors Sugar Rush or Let Them Eat Cake in the set or on its own.

  • PAINT TYPE: TURBOSHIFT
  • TONE: MIDRANGE
  • RECOMMENDED BASECOAT: BLACK
  • SIZE: 20 ML BOTTLE

Turbo Dork paints are great for painting D&D characters, Warhammer armies, Battletech machines, and any hobby involving plastic, metal or resin. Colorshift paints are made with tiny glass-like flakes that work like millions of small prisms within the paint. Depending on how the flakes are made, different colors are refracted or reflected in the light. In short, colorshift paint(s) changes color depending on what light you are viewing it under and what angle you are holding it to that light.

  • Sweet Dreams will dry a metallic Purple to Pink.
  • .67 oz Dripper Bottle, shake well before
  • Formulated for Airbrush use, but may also be hand brushed.
  • Water Soluble and safe to handle.

Please Note: Exact colors may vary from the colors on your screen! Water Based paints are subject to freezing.

Guide:

Shake: Shake well before and during use.

Prime: For the most vibrant results, prime with a gloss black undercoat.

Airbrush: Use a .5mm nozzle and needle. Thin Turbo Dork paint 2:1 with airbrush medium or water. Apply 3-5 thin coats, or until you get the look you want.

Paint Brush: Lightly thin and paint in even, single direction strokes. Allow each coat to fully dry before applying the next. Do not allow to pool.

Washes and Finishing: Gloss washes work best on Turbo Dork paints. Finish with a matte or satin varnish to tone down the gloss quality.

The paints do in fact work as I imagined so if that is what you are worried about then rest assured they do color shift, however all three of mine were likely sitting in the warehouse/store for a while and came completely gummed up in the nozzle. I had to fish out the dried paint after opening up the container and digging around with an exacto knife. Be aware so you don’t squeeze to hard it realizing and splatter your new paint everywhere.
